Ron's Home baked Macaroni and Cheese 7 oz pckg elbow macaroni, uncooked 1/4 cup butter 3 Tbsp all purpose flour 2 cups milk 8 oz. cream cheese 1.2 tsp salt 1.2 tsp pepper 2 tsp Dijon mustard 2 cups cheddar cheese, cut into 1/2" cubes 1 cup bread crumbs 2 Tbsp butter, melted 2 Tbsp parsley Heat oven to 400 F. Cook macaroni according to package directions; drain. Meanwhile, in a 3 qt saucepan, melt 1/4 cup butter. Stir in flour and cook over medium heat, stirring occassionally until smooth and bubbly. Stir in milk, cream cheese, salt, pepper and mustard. Continue cooking, stirring occassionally, until sauce is thickened (about 3 to 4 min). Stir in macaroni and cheese cubes. Pour into a 2 qt casserole. In a small bowl, stir together remaining ingredients; sprinkle over the macaroni and cheese. Bake 15 to 20 min or until golden brown and heated through.
