Family comes first as always:
My younger sister is an incredibly talented and intelligent young lady. A graduate of MIT, she is now living in Boston working in a research lab with Harvard. She got married in July of 2005 - take a look at pictures of her wedding at Josh & Ariya's Weddings.
My youngest
sibling, Kanit, is a sharp student who is also quite skilled in marital
arts. He is an avid anime fan and a cadet at the Air Force Academy. He's
sharp and witty, a bit of a geek of course, but then so am I. I turned
out to be ok, so I'm sure he'll continue to develop into just the person
he wants to be.
Here are two more family members, Uncle Gary and Uncle Greg. These two Sunshine Boys live down in Florida. We were lucky enough to visit them not too long ago, and they were the greatest. They have two little birds in their household as well as an adorable princess kitty who decided to adopt them. The two of them enjoy mountain biking, sunshine, and just kicking back to relax. Friends:
Helen is first, and will probably never like any picture I put up. But this is a decent one of her from my wedding. We've been friends since middle school and over the years she has been a great companion and awesome friend through the most trying of times. Helen did me the honor of being the Maid of Honor in my wedding in September of 2003.
And here is a picture of the elusive Karen. Karen is a very dear friend from high school. Somehow over the past ten years or so we've managed to stay true to each other and our friendship through some of the most arduous trials any romance novelist can think of. She's pretty hard to catch on camera, so this may be one of the only pictures I get.
Here are our good friends Jeff and Laura. I don't know how long it will take me to get used to hearing people call her "Doctor" . She is married to the ever elusive Jeff - who is almost impossible to catch in a photo. This may be one of the few up to date pictures there is of him! The two of them are a wonderful couple and we value the time we have with them.
Here's Alex, one of my best friends and my anime dealer. We met him at Otakon, and he may never recover from the experience. :P
Ryan is a long time friend who was at Trenton State College with us in those first days of our relationship. In fact, he pre-dates Ron in the friendship I share with him. In the face of Ron's well-known jealousy streak, Ryan has endured as a good friend to us both. He is the photographer behind the beautiful pictures from our wedding - his wedding gift to us.
Here is Ron with two of our close friends: Tim and Brian. Tim work for BMS as a computer specialist, although I'm not certain of what field, and Brian has graduated as a Doctor of Optometry.
And here is Ron's old roommate from college, Todd. Todd is a great guy, very intelligent, and comes up with the most interesting notions that even he doesn't quite know from which they came. He's also a frat brother of Ron's and a good friend.
Here is Kei, a coworker from Kyowa who lives in Japan. He's a great guy and very knowledgeable in IT systems and networking. He has recently been married to Miyuki, who we had the honor to meet this past June 2005.
Here are David and Catherine. I met Catherine as a coworker at Kyowa Pharmaceuticals, Inc. We've since become friends and Ron and I love to spend time with them. Catherine has deep interest in Japan and shares my long time love for food. David is definitely a collector of everything Simspons. They two wonderful little boys...
Sho-chan was born in September of 2003, just days before our wedding. Masato was born in July of 2005 and is quickly catching up to his older brother. Both are pictured here with the baby blankets I made for them.
Here are Kristine and Paul. Both of them went to Stevens Tech and have graduated and moved on to rewarding professional careers. They are enthusiastic RPG gamers and are soon expecting the birth of their second child...
Here is young and super cute baby Katherine. I'll get a pic of the new baby Robby as soon as possible.
Greg and Jennie: Jennie seems to embody the concept of "Do It Yourself". Regardless how big or small the project, how challenging the deadline or how creative the goal - Jennie is more than capable of doing it all. Greg is supportive and providing for her, and I am so happy to see them both together. They've recently been blessed a with a new addition to their family...
And here is their adorable son, baby Evan.
Here is a cute shot of my handsome husband on the right with our friend, Jay on the left. Jay is a really sweet guy, and a very good cook. Yum! He's laid back and a lot of fun and definitely there if you need a hand. He is happily engaged, and I will get a good pic of his fiancee and her bright young son as soon as I can.
Here are Rich and Vickie, a great couple that we enjoy spending quiet evenings with. They've just recently been married. Rich happens to be a wonderful cook and also is an engineer by profession. He's got great taste and I will never tire of walking through his house and backyard gardens. Vickie makes the best comfort food, and has a love for warm fuzzy kitty friends.
Here's Vince. He's a bright young intern at Kyowa Pharmaceutical, Inc who had the misfortune to walk past my office and get sucked in. Ron and I and the rest of our friends are horrible for corrupting youth. :P
Lauren and I met in the office at BMS. She and her husband Matt were married in July of 2005. Ron and I have since had the pleasure of joining them for their football and Super Bowl parties, hanging out and generally having a good time. They are a beautiful couple and quickly becoming a pair of our greatest friends.
Sophie and I met at Marcia Hyland Dance & Arts Center in '05. Since then she and Tom have become great friends to us. We've enjoyed vacationing, adventures at Six Flags, dance performances and simple nights hanging out together. They're a really cute couple and time is always fun spent with them.
This is Ian, or Magsaysay. I met him on the MegaTokyo Forums and decided to sweep him up in the whirl of insanity that is our fun at Otakon along with Alex and Helen and he's not quite yet caught his breath. Ron and Ryan have also decided that he needs to learn to drink with the big dogs without feeding the real dogs. He may never live that particular story down.
Here are Bob and Alice, a very cute couple and some of our best friends. They've helped us through quite a few things in the last few years, between moves and sewing Elizabethan gowns and all sorts of other things. Now, they have a wonderful focus to their lives...
And here is their precious son, Lucian Joseph.
Sean was a coworker from BMS, who is also becoming a great friend. He's a major horror fan and yet another tech buddy. He and his girlfriend Amy are great people to know. They were recently married in the summer of 2006.
Well, that's all for now. I tend to replace or renew pics as I get better ones, or as time goes by. I also add more as I get pics of friends that I don't have yet, or as I make new friends. I'm missing a few pics of close friends who are more adept at avoiding the camera. But never fear, I will find a way. :) |
